Late period ?

My period is 12 days late (maybe?) never had sex, my period is super irregular and always has been, I’ve been to the doctor about it. But I bled a tiny bit of brown blood for like 2 days 27 days after the start of my last period but it was super light and like I said it lasted two days. Was that just a super light period? I’ve only ever dry humped with multiple layers of clothes so that’s impossible.
