How can you tell if baby is head down?

Makayla

Second pregnancy here and you’d think I’d know this by now but I’m just thrown for a loop. I’m about to be 32 weeks and when I was 30w I found out that baby boy was transverse which made sense because hiccups would be to the right of my belly, movements on the right of my belly, and pressure on the right of my belly. So once I got home I did spinning babies exercises for 2 days after and his movements were WILD, I swear we watched him turn at that point I stopped all exercises. Ever since then his hiccups are now down below my belly button(or toward my right ovary) but when I lay down I see them above and to the right of my belly button, movements I now feel down below my belly button, lots of pressure on the right side of my belly and under my ribs. I’ve tried feeling for his head but I can’t tell what’s a head and what’s a butt. I’m having uncontrollable anxiety that he’s either still transverse or fully breech.

And yes I get it “baby still has time” but hearing that does not help my anxiety, I’m just looking for what others have done to be able to assure them baby is head down!
