Please help! I need advice... update.....

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Today I had a large blood clot looking thing (about 3 inches in length). It was so dark it almost looked black. After that I bled a little like spotting. Now I'm bleeding again like a mild period with little spots of clumps... I have no pain or cramps, just the bleeding. Any advice? Could I be having a miscarriage?? Update: I had a dr appointment today and they couldn't find a baby. They said I'm in the process of miscarrying. They saw a gestational sac but no baby or fetal pole.
