Situationship???

Okay so I’ve been in a “situationship” off and on for going on 2 years now. It’s like we would break it off and somehow always come back together because we both know there are feelings involved. But this time, we talked this past week because it was getting to him. He said that he does have feelings for me, but he can’t say that they are relationship type feelings. He did say he was very much so sexually attracted to me and that was the hardest part about wanting to be friends. He said that I’ve been his bestfriend for 2 years and he doesn’t want to lose that friendship if a relationship didn’t work. He wants to remain best friends and cut out the situationship part.

My problem is, is I have fell hard for this man. And I mean hard. Which thats my fault because both of us agreed to no feelings to begin with. But he still texts me from Goodmorning to goodnight everyday. He still wants to hang out and go out to eat and just do stuff that friends do. How do i go about this? I can act like I don’t have feelings infront of him because I am good at hiding it. But I know if he ever tells me that he’s seeing someone, it’ll break me to pieces. So I’m torn on what to do.
