Was I wrong!? Sons father got pissed at me.
I'm 19 weekd pregnant and my son's father and I are not together. For the first 15/16 weeks he literally wanted nothing to do with either of us and denied the baby out of his own fears and insecurities. Recently he came back into the picture for the baby wanting to be involved. I'm obviously hesitant about it for several reasons that I've not added but I agreed. Mind you for my entire pregnancy so far I've bought all kinds of things for the baby, my ex has done nothing. Today I asked what he planned to buy the baby so we weren't getting the same stuff. He said clothes. I told him that the baby didn't need more clothes because 0-9 months was covered. Which he already knew. A few weeks ago I gave him a list of what he still needed and I've since gotten most of what was on the list. I suggested that he buy things he still needs and suggested he give me the money so I could shop for what he does not have and told him he didn't know what stuff the baby still needs. He made the comment "I'll get my son whatever I want, end of discussion!" and got upset because he took it as I didn't think he knew what was best and was belittling him, I never implied that. I felt it was taken completly out of context. I was really shocked.. I've tried to invite him over to see what he has and asked him to go shopping with me and he refused. He proceded to be really nasty to me after, said I deminished him and told him he was incapable. That I think I'm better than him. That I'm a mental case because I said I was done with the put downs. I'm just lost. Was I wrong to suggest that? Atp there has been so much bs with him since just being back in the picture for 3 weeks. He causes me so much stress with his outbursts and attitudes..he takes everything as an attack or jab and fires insults at me in defense. I can't say anything to him.. I'm just tired.
