Suggestions on acquiring a toy?

So I want to get a toy but I am still under my parents roof. My mom likes to go through my stuff. I think I could get one via Target or another retail store but also I feel embarrassed to walk in and get something like that. I can’t order it though. Any thoughts? I’m almost 17. I know that’s young but yeah.

when you go shopping at like target, get all the stuff you need then you can get the toy last, hide it with everything else, and buy it at self checkout !!

I'm not sure where you're from, but Amazon has this Amazon locker thing where you can pickup things you order off there. I live in a very rural area so we don't have it but I've seen it in cities. That way you don't have to walk through a store with it or ship it to home. Also, I'm sorry your mom goes through your things.. that's not right.
