Husband Of Six Years

Hello, I came here to know if I’m tripping or If it’s my husband lol. So we have been married for six years and have two children together. Before getting married my husband got a tattoo on his left upper arm of his “first loves” name placed in an heart (medium sized)… we were on the subject of tattoos today and he mentioned first that he wants that one removed or covered up. I then said “yeah i do to”. Ladies he then went on a rant of how It has nothing to do with me and when he got it, it was before me and that he was in love. I mean like he really went on and on. Should I not as his wife have an opinion on it? Like shouldn’t I be able to at-least

say in agreement that yes he should get it removed? Am i tripping??
