Nuva Ring Help

so i just got the nuva ring. the doctor explained how to use it and everything but it just seems so sketchy.

can i take it out during sex and put it back in and still be protected?

can you feel it day to day? can it possibly slip out?

my mom and dr said they both used it for years and loved it. many ladies loved it. i hope i love it.

I just switched from the patch and that was hell for me because of the mental side of it, always had weird stomach aches. jittery etc.

The ring is lower dosage which is why i’m trying it. i’m currently on my period and monday would be the day i put a new patch on. my dr told me to either insert my ring monday or wait until the 1st and do it that way, but my main question is, if it falls out or if i want to take it out during sex, how long do i have until i have to put it back in to be protected.
