Feeling single

So me and my bf don't spend much time together at all anymore and so yesterday I told him I'd rather be single then in a relationship where I feel single and that we don't spend much time together anymore and he said well if you wanna act single 2 can play that game. I never said I wanted to act single so I have no idea wtf that meant. I was telling him how I felt about our relationship bc I'm unhappy. This is like a long distance relationship I didn't sign up for and he only lives 30 minutes away. He works a lot but even on his days off we don't really hangout much and it's really getting to me.. I miss the connection we had but honestly after that comment I don't know what to feel.. I also don't have a vehicle at the moment because mine got totalled in a car accident a few weeks back and I'm still waiting on the other cars insurance to do their thing.
