I’m not used to a “healthy” man.

Coming from a very toxic relationship many years ago, I have now met a wonderful man who I’ve been getting to know for 9 months now, taking it slow for my sake.

He is extremely consistent. Never makes me question his intentions or how he feels about me. Before we met, he really took the time to work on himself and it SHOWS. The most healthy communicator I have ever met.

He will tell me “I reallly care about you”. And he shows it. If hes working late, he will still find a way to call me. No excuses, ever.

I never have to tell him “you didnt make time for me” because he simply does it. Its been so effortless with him and he tells me he wants me, so I am never questioning it. I can talk to him about ANYTHING and he is my safe space for sure.

Im just not used to it. Someone being so good to me. He has been soo patient with me, but… how can I accept his love?
