My ex and I haven’t been together for three years. We are thinking about getting together but I have a one year old with another man. Could this work?

Eeeeh id be pretty skeptical.. Ik from personal experience that exes are exes for a reason lol then adding another man's baby in the mix, just adds a whole new level of complication/ potential for drama and resentment ECT. Even though we like to imagine our happily ever after playing house with the white picket fence & all that, we future fake. The reality is that people are who they have proven themselves to be, not who we wish they were, or who they "promise" to be. Gotta face the facts, that ppl only change if they WANT to change, & they only change if they have done the work necessary to change. ACTIONS speak louder than words.

It can work. Have you discussed this full? How does he feel about it? There could be some adjustment period that occurs. Only way to find out is to try it out. The other question to ask yourself is if whatever issue that made you break up the first time was fixed or will it still be a problem?

I know someone that did this. They were married with two kids. Breaking up on and off throughout that time. Broke up a while and she was with someone else, got pregnant by them. Based off pics you could see she was always with both the dads though, not just stuff with the kids either it seemed. Now she’s back with original baby daddy with their two kids and raising the other man’s baby too. Messy, but it  it works for some
