Having a fourth baby?

My Mom is extremely upset I did not have a tubal ligation done last summer when we delivered our third child via C-section (my other two deliveries were csections as well) She thinks I’m going to die if I ever have a fourth baby via C-section (mind you I’ve never had any complications during deliveries or pregnancies. I did not end up having a tubal because I wasn’t so sure if I was done or not when I went in to have our third baby.

My mom says “you don’t need any more kids” as if she is raising them and I can’t take care of them. My husband and I both work full time (my job is very flexible and just across the street from our home) My husband and I live in a nice neighborhood with hood schools and we do fairly well for being 29 and 31. We aren’t in any debt besides our mortgage. My kids never go without and we take family vacations once or twice a year. I’d say we are pretty great parents. We are both home every night with our kids for dinner and bed time or we are at their sports or activities. They go up. Keith with us all summer long. My husband and I take a weekend away once or twice a year and we also have a couple date nights a month. Sure sometimes I’m tired and busy busy busy but isn’t that life?

So my mom went on to say that my husband is the one forcing me to keep having kids and I’m just willing to have them. And it kind of hurt my feelings. Because every baby we have ever had was planned together. The decision we made to not have a tubal was made together. I swear on the Bible my husband has never once forced me to do anything nor does he keep me from doing things that I want.

I guess I just wanted to vent and maybe see if anyone has ever had this problem? Our youngest is about to turn a year old. We have locked around the idea of a fourth and final one day. But I’m in no hurry. Ideally if we were ever to have 1 more I would wait u til at least next spring to start trying.
