i have a guitar teacher that I had a crush on a while back. when him and his girlfriend broke up, he started texting me a lot and opening up more. he is a friend of mine but not sure if I should look at him with attraction or as an older brother. I am also not sure if he likes me, but regardless just trying to be there for him as a friend during his breakup. he is not eating. what do u think? is he trying to court me? UPDATE: I am 29!

If he is so heartbroken over the break up to the point that he isn't eating, I doubt big time that he is already looking for another relationship. More likely he just sees you as a friend.

Nothing wrong with being attracted to an older man. My husband is 10 years older than I am. But if he’s so heartbroken he’s not eating, I don’t think he sees you as anything more than just a friend right now.

He just broke up with his parents so met and is leaning on you as a friend. He’s not trying to do anything but get support.
