Pump and dump?

I just had my last baby and he is EBF. I’m getting my tubes tied in a few weeks, will I have to pump and dump after going under anesthesia or can I just continue breastfeeding?

I had to have surgery to remove my gallbladder at 5 weeks pp. The anesthesiologist said that by the time I was okay to go home which was about 4-5 hours after surgery that it would be fine to feed my baby. No need to dump. She said if I'm awake enough to hold the baby, that the amount of anesthesia in my body was low enough to feed him.

Nope. They gave me strong pain meds after a c section knowing I was trying to nurse. Very rarely do you actually need to pump and dump unless you’re taking like chemo or something.
