Late Ovulation With Clomid ?

Question

I’m on CD 17 after taking 5 50 mg clomid pills days 3-7 . This is my first round but my clear blue digital advanced test is still reading low, has anyone experienced late ovulation on clomid? and if so on which CD did you ovulate ? 
Since last night i have been experiencing slight back pain , and a little breast tenderness, and i had a dime sized amount of CM come out last night , so i’m wondering why i wouldn’t at least be testing high?

I’m on my second round of clomid and I ovulated first round on cycle day 20 and this round cycle day 18. It will come up on clear blue advanced if you keep testing twice a day otherwise you might miss it

Cm can’t tell if your ovulating or about to ovulate. Keep tracking some ovulate late on clomid or not at all (I did 7 rounds rounds 5 out of 7 rounds I didn’t even ovulate)
