My bf tells my parents everything

I have asked my boyfriend not to say certain things to my parents. My parents have always been strict my entire life. I am in my 20s now , and although they don’t control me anymore, they can be super judgmental and annoying. So I don’t like to tell them everything going on in my life.

My bf and I have been together over a year. I have asked him not to tell them certain things because it’s none of their business and I don’t want them to know.

But every time we are around my parents, he talks and talks and talks until he blurts out the things I didn’t want them to know.

It happened tonight and afterwards I told him about it and that I wish he would t tell them all of our business because I can tell the look on my moms face that she is judging him, or judging me and I know that after we leave, they are gonna gossip and talk crap about my bf or about me.

My bf got upset that I told him that and said that he won’t talk to my parents anymore and that I need to accept him the way that he is. He just doesn’t understand how my parents really are. They put on a smile and act nice and polite with him, but they are judging everything about him. That’s how they were with every boyfriend I’ve ever had.

Any advice ??????
