Daycare / PreSchool

Let me catch up here since my last post was almost 1 year ago. My son was attending daycare in CA then we moved to PA last August. I put him in a daycare here for half time, he got sick too many times for my liking, so I pulled him out after 1.5 months. He’s been home since. Its getting really hard because he’s learning too fast for us to teach him, take care of him and work. We are thinking about putting him in daycare / preschool. My question is how do most parents deal with the sickness and is it common or was he just in a bad daycare. I didn’t have a sickness issue in CA which is why I am asking.
