Not sleeping through the night still?!

Is any one else’s baby still not sleeping through the night?! This is so damn tough. We want to give him a sibling but I don’t think I’ll be able to do this again if my son still isn’t sleeping all night. We’ve tried changing our schedule and letting him sleep around 10:30 sometimes 11 and he’s still up around 6 like wth

My 2 year old has always been an amazing sleeper, but right before he turned two he went through a sleep regression. We are still occasionally fighting the regression. His bedtime, since he turned one, has been bath, massage lotion (he has eczema), warm milk, brush teeth, book, bed 6:30 up at 6am with a 2-3 hour nap. 
A nurse told us long ago that sleep begets sleep. If my son's daytime naps gets ruined, delayed, or cut short, whatever, his night behavior and sleep are ruined. Good luck!!

Does he nap still during the day?
If so, how many times and for how long? Naps play a huge factor in night time sleep. Too little or too much can mess with bedtime sleep. 
Also the constant early morning waking can be from light. My kids wake up as soon as the sun is up. So we have to really black out their windows if we want him to sleep a little longer.

Yeah mine isn’t either. I also have a 3 year old that is occasionally up at night for water or something. Both my boys are early risers and always have been. 
I know it’s exhausting and not easy, but I promise you if you let go of the constant need to “fix it” you will feel a lot better!!!
I mean this in the best way possible, because I’ve been there too. We can’t really control when they wake, all we can do is support them. And one day I know they’ll sleep better, but it’s not up to me on when and how.

If you have Facebook, there’s a respectful sleep training group on there that I really enjoyed. It has a few different methods that you could try depending on your comfort level etc. I know it’s not for everyone, but at the very least they can likely help you try to tweak your schedule as sometimes that can be an issue. I’ve followed it with both my girls and they are amazing sleepers. I’m sorry you are going through this, being sleep deprived is a whole new level. Just remember, it won’t last forever!

You’re definitely not alone, she wakes up 2-3 times at night most times. We’re lucky when she wakes up once! We are waiting till her 2nd birthday hopefully by then she’ll sleep through the night and if so then we’ll start trying because it’s so exhausting and I can’t imagine adding a newborn to our routine right now.
