Why is my child’s cry so triggering

Does anyone feel off when their child cries, like a sense of anxiety feeling as if something is wrong. Even tho children cry and that is a normal thing.

When my 3 year old is over tired she will have melt downs. And I know exactly why she is upset, it’s because she’s over tired. But I still get this sense of anxiety and I just feel really down and a little depressed. I’ve felt this ever since she was a little baby. But with my son whom is 7 years older than her I never had these feelings.

I had severe anxiety with my daughter tho right from the get go, I was terrified of anything and everything g happening to her. It actually drove me a bit crazy as I was on constant alert and it was exhausting where as when my son was little I sailed through parenting so easily.
