I think my partner is a bad dad

this is going to be a long rant but i just feel ugh. I know I’m not the perfect mom either but he doesn’t even act like a dad. He doesn’t change diapers, bathe them, feed them, rarely plays with them. He holds our baby (well almost 1 year old🥲) like 5 minutes max. Then he puts him in his crib or jumper. There are times where I had to do something and tell him to watch them and he doesn’t. For example, once I was outside cleaning my car and I come back and the kids are just by themselves in the living room while he’s in the room laying on his phone. Another time, I told him to watch the baby and he put him in his jumper. He ended up falling asleep and I went to get him to move him to his crib and my partner was just laying on his phone like “no wonder it got quiet”. We both work full time jobs but when he’s home he is on his phone the whole time. Or in the other room on his phone. Like doesn’t care to interact with the kids. On the weekends, I try taking the kids out (park, library, hiking) and I tell him and he like i don’t wanna do that. I just don’t understand how he doesn’t even care to interact with them or anything? All he does is be on his phone and drink. Then it’s funny because if I lay down or be on my phone it’s “you’re ignoring the kids” like then what do you do? like if you’re tryna say i’m a bad mom what does that make you… idk i just don’t know how to make him understand he has to do more as a parent. he thinks paying the rent is enough. (he doesn’t pay childcare, kid clothing, toys, diapers, wipes.. that’s all me). Also while speaking of toys, he always complains about them. Doesn’t want me buying our daughter play dough because she makes a mess ( i clean it up anyways). doesn’t like her doll house, doesn’t like our son’s playpen, doesn’t like her tunnel toy. it just seems like he doesn’t want kids but i mean a bit late for that. i just dont know how to nicely tell him he needs to be more of a parent.
