I have a retro uterus does that make it harder to see a baby?

Has anyone here had a successful pregnancy with the same experience. I know when I Iast had my period so I should be 7 weeks and 1 day today but yesterday my ultrasound only had a sac. 
Could it be I need more time? I got my blood drawn and will get blood drawn again tomorrow to see if my hcg levels are doubling.

You could just have ovulated later than normal and be earlier in the pregnancy. Good luck!

My uterus was retroverted with my daughter, they tried abdominal at 8w3d and couldn't see anything. Switched to vaginal and there she was. Tucked all the way up and back. It was normal with my son. Back to retroverted for this pregnancy. Abdominal at 6w3d showed nothing so vaginal it was and there was baby. Tucked up and in the back again. Repeat at 8w3d and had to go vaginally again to see anything.
