FT mom FT employee=STRESSFUL

Monica

I just started a job 3 weeks ago. I work full time all week. While trying to care for my two young boys at home with me. I'm lucky to be working from home but it's still so stressful. I have to be a mom, wife and and employee all in the same day everyday. Plus I'm pregnant and nearly due so I have to wake up and get to my appointments as early as possible to be seen and rush back home to clock in on time. I have endless appointments and don't want to request too much off because I just started and they're already being so cool with me taking off time for the baby. I don't want to take advantage. I'm having a C-section and from experience I know I need a solid two weeks to recover and feel okay. My husband is wanting me to go back to work the second week. I told him working from home yeah it'd be no problem but I'd like to spend some time with the baby before my time is taken up by working again. I feel so much pressure right now. Pressure to be a good mom, wife, expecting mother, employee..make sure I don't miss too much work because we need the money. I have to work around a schedule of getting to appointments and trying not to miss a day of work but that's proving impossible since I work all week and nothing is open on the weekends. Plus all of this without a vehicle. I'm just stressing because baby is so close and to make matters even better at the best time I think I'm coming down with something which is just what I need right now with a new vulnerable baby coming home.
