Anyone have any idea what these spots are on my 4 year old??

They showed up this morning. They seem too big to be mosquito bites and we weren’t outside in the evening. I live in Oklahoma and we have lots of critters here but I don’t even know if these are bug bites? They don’t seem to bug him🤷🏼‍♀️

When I was little I used to get reallllly big mosquito bites like this. Maybe he’s just more “allergic” to the bites. Mine used to be gigantic and swollen like that too.

Those actually look like horse fly bites (do you have those? Also known as “deer flies”). When my son gets bit by those they look exactly like that. They go smaller eventually

That's what my mosquito bites look like. If I get more than 4 on my body at a time, they get even bigger. I had over 10 once and the one on my hand puffed that side of my hand up by double. It doesn't have to be night time and they aren't always the big ones. There are tiny little blood suckers out there too that are harder to spot.
