Tubal removal experience?

How was your experience having your tubes removed? How many kids did you have prior? Did you have side effects afterwards and do you regret your decision? I have two girls and get my surgery done in a month. Some peoples reactions were iffy and said I should have one more. I had a bad pregnancy with my second child and don’t want pregnant again. I also want off birth control. Is it wrong me getting this done especially that I don’t have a boy? My husband is fine with the choice.
