12 week old teething or growth spurt?

Haley

My baby boy has always chewed/sucked on his hand or anything his mouth can get on and he salivary glands started working a few weeks ago but this week he has been super fussy not wanting to eat much not really wanting to sleep drooling more than he has but the hand chewing and sucking seems more aggressive he usually has issues with gas but the gas drops don’t seem to be helping like they normally do so I’m not convinced that it’s just gas causing this but he hasn’t exactly been burping the greatest lately he will burp it just takes forever and sometimes it’s only a small one he is only semi happy/calm when being held but he will still pout or cry and he goes into red faced screaming spells where rocking and shushing and offering a binky or bottle doesn’t help. His gums don’t seem red or inflamed but he doesn’t let me look very well and I’m a FTM so idk what I’m looking for 😅 he literally went all day yesterday without sleeping no matter what I did he slept for like 5 minutes and woke up he wouldn’t let me put him down after being up every hour till about 5 am when he refused to go back to sleep till 6pm then he finally passed out for 6 and a half hours straight didn’t even want to wake to eat I had tried to feed him an hour before he knocked out but he slammed 3oz so quick I didn’t even notice I burped him he seemed fine then I put him in position to eat again and he projected all of it back up and refused to eat that’s when he passed out for the rest of the night and would not wake back up to eat till 1am
