Solo playtime help

My baby is going to be a year old tomorrow and still won’t play in her playpen by herself. She will only play with her toys if myself or my husband are in there with her. We don’t even have to be interacting with her, she will play with the toys by herself, but we have to physically be in the playpen with her.

Anyone have any advice or insight on how to facilitate more solo play so that myself (mostly since I’m with her 24/7) and my husband can have our alone time to do our own hobbies?
