I’m 38 AMH 0.2
Hello everyone, at 37.9 years of age and with a significantly low AMH level of 0.2, I’ve been exploring the possibility of freezing my eggs before it might become too challenging to conceive. Currently, I’m undergoing an IVF cycle. After the first ultrasound, six follicles were identified. Post the initiation of the medication, the second ultrasound displayed two eggs responding well and growing. Fast forward to six days of medication later, the third ultrasound indicated two mature eggs, with the other two developing at a slower pace.
I am now scheduled for the next ultrasound on August 10th, however, I find myself in a dilemma. I am unsure if proceeding with the egg retrieval is worthwhile if the quality of these eggs is uncertain. So, I’m contemplating whether to continue with the surgery or abort the process. It doesn’t seem to make sense to me to go through the procedure for just two eggs and then bear the cost of storage. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you!
