Started being induced yesterday at 3:30pm

They inserted (can’t think of the name) it’s like a soft tampon to help soften the cervix at 3:30 and at 9:30pm 6hrs after it was inserted no change. Baby is doing ok and I’m ok (Bp bit high). I will have another check soon to see if cervix has changed (tightness of the stomach started within a hour of that thing being in and back pain on/off all night but I slept through it)

Currently 7am here now so I’ll be walking around after breakfast. I have to go down at 3:30 to get it removed and see what happens either they break my waters if at certain cm or insert the gel. 38+2 today. Being induced for medical reasons.

I am absolutely terrified I won’t be able to give birth or not do it at all. I’m a first time mom I know it’s just nerves getting the better of me and the hormones changing.
