Mini pill experiences wanted!

I have the copper iud right now and I have been bleeding heavily since the middle of June. The past few days I have started having lots of cramping and a pinching sensation in my entire pelvic area and scheduled an ultrasound for tomorrow afternoon suspecting my iud may be in the wrong place. I couldn’t feel the strings at all last night but this evening I felt something odd while sitting down and yeah, my iud is starting to come out. I had a horrible experience with mirena after my first was born and I’m breastfeeding, so the mini pill is really the only other option I’m willing to try. I have read about experiences with that pill and near-constant spotting…ugh. I have no experience with birth control aside from the two iud’s my body obviously hates.
