2nd pregnancy Babyshower?

So to have or not to have a babyshower? What are yalls opinions....also my kiddo is almost 5 years old......I have kept some things in hopes of a 2nd baby. I have had someone say you are supposed to only have it for your 1st??

My first daughter was 4 when I found out I was having another girl so I decided not to have one because I kept most stuff and the gender was the same.

I didn’t with my second and won’t with my third, but it’s up to you! I just don’t like doing parties lol. I figure if someone wants to give the baby a gift they will anyways. I feel like a lot of people do have them though, especially if there’s a lot of time between the pregnancies or it’s a different gender.

It’s up to you! If you’re excited and you feel like you want one then go for it😃 I definitely wouldn’t expect gifts, but if people ask for your registry then you can share it individually (instead of sharing it publicly on your registry invitation) 
For my second baby (who was a different gender than my first) I created a private registry for myself to use as a checklist for all of the things I needed/wanted since it had been a few years since we had our first baby, plus I was very excited to buy baby girl things lol. A few of my family and friends asked me if I had a registry for our daughter, so I shared the link with a few people who asked (my mom, sister, etc). 
For a second baby shower (or sprinkle) I think it’s totally appropriate to have a nice party to celebrate the new life that you’re excited about.

I like baby showers so I’d never be mad about attending a second. Especially if there is 5 years between the two kids. Unless someone’s like the Duggars or something, I don’t think it’s an issue. If someone doesn’t like it, they don’t have to go!

We did a sprinkle and asked mostly for diapers and other things that can’t be saved from our first. Pregnant with third now and will probably just have a diaper party.
