Help, any advice or tips

Hey for the past couple of days I have been feeling like I smell really bad down there . My husband says he doesn’t smell anything and I don’t stink but I know my body. I’ve been thinking that I could have BV (Bacterial vaginosis) ive talked to my mom about it she says it’s over the counter medication for it. Which I’m highly doubting . If there is any advice or tips anyone can help me with that’ll be great. I’m trying to avoid going to the obgyn right now because my insurance has went out due to hard times . But if I have no other choice I’ll go.
