Mini work vent.

I work at a grocery store. I used to be just the self check out attendant, however now I do that while also doing the customer service desk. Earlier I was helping a customer at the desk with refunds while I had a customer using one of the machines. Obviously I wouldn’t be in two places at once so I was focusing on helping the customer at the desk. One of the cashiers said the customer using the machine didn’t pay for half of his stuff. I sort of just shrugged my shoulders when she told. There was nothing I could do and that’s what happens when you have one person doing two jobs. You can’t expect to have one person doing the desk and watching 8 self check outs and not have anyone steal (even if unintentionally.)
