HELP I need advice!!!

So I have been dating this guy for a while, and we have recently begun being more intimate. After becoming more comfortable with each other I explained to him that I have a very rare condition called intra areolar polythelia. Basically I have two nipples in one areola, and I have had it since birth. Since it is so rare, he’s never seen anything like it so out of curiosity he asked what is wrong with it. Having struggled all my life with this rare condition I don’t know how to feel. It’s a cosmetic procedure that cost a fortune. So since he said that, I haven’t taken my bra off and i haven’t felt that insecure in a while. I don’t know how to feel more comfortable and I’m sure he’s watched videos with women in his past with perfect nipples. It’s silly but he doesn’t understand how upset his comment made me.
