Pregnant & Scared

I have a 5 year old and am in the midst of a nasty divorce. (He hates me. Rightfully so. I had an emotional affair and chose to leave him before it got physical)

I have no family and no money.

Now. I was offered an incredible opportunity for a new job that comes with a hefty $$$$ sign on bonus. I have accepted and planned on taking it at the end of this month. Taking this job is the only thing that can help me get through mediation and possible court.

Found out last night I’m pregnant. (Not husbands obviously) First appt is next week.

Now…. The kicker is that IF I still choose to take this job I’m losing out on 12 weeks of paid maternity leave. Which honestly comes out to the same amount as the sign on bonus.

Do I take the job and the bonus now just to worry about money with a newborn and 6 year old?

Or do I stay put to have consistency when I have this child?
