Anyone know if this looks right?

It looks like your jewelry may be too tight? Did they piece with a long enough bar? Some indentation is normal but it’s worse when there’s not enough room for swelling. That indent looks way bigger than your backing but it may be the angle. When in doubt, talk to the piercer.

I had that issue and the skin started to grow over the flat part. I took it out, let it heal and I got it done again and used a hoop, but idk if you can or would want to do a hoop in that spot. I believe they have clear things tho that you can put on the bar that is supposed to stop that, but I’ve only heard about them haven’t actually looked those up
