How would you approach this situation in a kind way?

I’m a SAHM and I’m really tired of my fiancé making empty promises. For the past year and a half, he’s been saying he would take our family to an outdoor safari. The kids have been excited multiple times, including myself, only for him to change plans and say he would rather do something in town. Keep in mind we live in a small city where the funnest thing to do is an arcade or trampoline park that we’ve done too many times to count. He also promised the water park two summers ago and we haven’t gone not once. Everytime we have a chance he just blows it off. Same thing with dates! I had a serious talk with him basically saying I would get tired of not feeling effort and eventually feel different. He told me he would change. Today we were supposed to go and have a really nice date and he ended up saying he just wanted to see the gun shop and go to Dairy Queen for a cone. I’m absolutely fed up
