My bf and I are long distance (about 8 years) we met at 16 and haven’t met yet, we both have tried but things come up. We kind of had a off the past year and long distance is hard. I use to send him nudes but after my friends getting leaked I got scared and uncomfortable to send them and that is causing a lot of problems with our relationship. What can I do?

Wait…you’ve been in a long distance relationship with someone for 8 YEARS but have never actually met them!? Did I read that right? No shade, but wow. That’s wild lol 
I would suggest that if you’re going to send nudes, at least keep your face/other identifying features out of them, like tattoos for example. But I hope you’ve at least FaceTimed this person and you know they’re legit and not some creep! Otherwise, I’d advise you don’t send them at all because in which case you really can’t be certain that this person is truly who they say they are.

I think you probably already know in your heart that something is up but are scared to end it and start again because 8 years is a long time to be invested. We’re missing some information here too though, if you haven’t FaceTimed then it’s time to give an ultimatum. If you have FaceTimed and therefor know he’s at least who he says he is then it’s more a question of do you want to be tied to someone and obligated to be loyal without any of the actual physical benefits of a relationship any longer?
