It depends on what you want out of life. Everyone has different journeys. Some people don’t want to settle down or commit to anything serious, others do. Nothing is wrong w that.

I’m 28 and was doing the casual dating thing up until May when I met my boyfriend and we’re not casual. We’re committed. Looking for casual dates is how I met the man of my dreams who is currently snoring beside me 😂

In all honesty, I wish I would have waited until after i was 25 to start making serious decisions about my life. The human brain doesn't stop developing until around that age. I already had two kids and a serious separation under my belt by 25. I didn't even know my self fully by 27-30 yo and by then I couldn't really change much of what my life has shaped into. Like, I love my husband and our life together. But, I can love more than one person/partner at a time. It doesn't work well in our marriage so it's monogamous. It's hard at times. Same with having kids, education, where we live, careers etc. All of it would be drastically different had we waited and took our time with everything. So, yeah, I would be casually dating around that age if I could reroll the dice

No I wouldn't. I knew from a young age I wanted to already be done having children at 28. I have never wanted to have children near 30 and if I could help it I was going to make damn sure that wouldn't happen. I never did casual dating and alwats dated for marriage. My husband and I have been together since we were 15. We moved in together, lost a baby, and 3 months later we were married right after turning 22, did fertility the next month and had our oldest, bought a home when she was 3 months old, our second baby followed that same year, now we're on baby number 3. I graduated on our oldest's 1st birthday, my husband started his career at 20 and he's ranked up a lot. Just from what I wanted out of life I always knew that causual dating wasn't for me. I never understood it and wasn't part of it. I refused to waste my time on people who weren't looking for the same things I was. I happened to luck out and find my husband really young and he's someone who views things the way I do. His family has a history of marrying as teens, we were the firt generation not to, but they all found their spouces early on and loved them until death. My husband was looking for the same thing. 28 wouldn't have worked for what I was looking for in life. Even had I not met my husband when I did I still would have only dated for marriage.
