Baby nursingfor hours at a time

My baby will be 1 in a few days, I've been tryingto wean him usinga weightedstraw sippy cup becausehe never wouldtake a bottle. There has been about 6 nightsthe.last 2 months were he will literally nurse all night and if i try to unlatchhim he wakes up in an angry fit and wil scream until i nurse him again. I've.been havingto sleep in the crib with him on those nights because he will not sleep unless he's nursing. Has anyonehad this happen? I also usually can't get him to sleep unless i nurse him. Are there any tips on weaning? I know i could nurse for another year but it's been mentally and physically exhausting, I'm always hungry and covered in bruises.
