Should I make a doctors appointment?

For a while I’ve been having pain in my left arm and now I’m starting to have pain in my left hand, mainly in my thumb. And every now and then my hand will tingle and my little finger and ring finger seem to be the only fingers that fall asleep.

I hate making doctors appointments for myself because I always feel like I’m wasting the doctors time but it’s starting to make work a little difficult (I am a cashier.)

Someone please tell me suck it up and make an appointment lol
