Shotting pain down left leg

Hi mommas! I am.currwntly 35 weeks and cannot wait to meet my little girl. I currently have a boy so it is an exciting time. My doctor has said that she sees 4 vericose (idk how to spell it) veins around my lady area. The last few days i have been feeling this shooting pain down my left leg where it becomes burning/painful, and sometimes numb. Not sure if anyone has ever had the same experience, but wondering if it is normal or if i need to contact my doctor. We are so close but not sure if i can have this pain for the next 4 weeks.
