When does period come back post partum when on birth control?

I'm 7-8 weeks post partum. I started birth control probably 3ish weeks post partum. I'm in my "period week" of the pills and have not started my period. With my first child I started my period within a couple weeks of stopping bleeding, around 6 weeks post partum. I thought even if I didn't start my period yet the birth control would bring it on but so far it hasn't came, but there's still time. Will birth control bring on a period post partum? Or can I continue to go without a period like some other breastfeeding moms? I also had sex around 6 weeks post partum but I was already on birth control for around 3 weeks. So I'm little paranoid even though I was on a birth control haha so someone ease my fears and let me know what's going on 🤷‍♀️
