Mastitis / Uterine Cramps

I am 6 weeks postpartum. Vaginal delivery, no tears, no complications. Exclusively breastfeeding. I recognized I had a blocked duct Friday afternoon and couldn’t clear it or care for it quick enough I guess, so by the next morning I had infection. Saw an urgent care doctor Saturday afternoon and started antibiotics yesterday. I noticed today I was having uterine cramps and I’ve started having brown mucus discharge and light pink spotting. Are these things somehow related? Should I call my doctor? My postpartum appointment is scheduled for the 11th anyway.
