How do i prepare my first daughter(4 years old) for second baby? I Want her to feel so included and loved but stilll love the new baby with out resentment. I Did just figure out im pregnant yesterday but have no idea how far along I am. And i want to know so badly. Hoping to get into the doctors this week for dating scan.we have not.tolf.our daughter yet and not.sure when we will

My daughter is almost 4 and I just found out about #2 as well. We’re planning on telling her for Christmas. However she already seems to know something is up. She told me there’s a baby in my tummy before I even knew there was. I feel like she old enough to make some basic decisions like picking out some outfits or toys for the baby. That’s how I plan on really including her. I don’t think I’ll bring her to any ultrasounds but I’ll definitely be giving her pictures.

I used some tips from Big Little Feelings (They have a highlight om Instagram).. 
But basically prep her. We talked a lot about baby and how she would be unable to do almost everything in the beginning but as she gets older er have to help her learn all the things. 
In the beginning she didn't really care much for her sister, but with time and as she grew and could interact more their relationship has slowly grown. 
And now that the little one is a year old they both absolutely adore each other!
