Pros and cons of babies close in age

What are the pros and cons of having my second baby be 1.5 years apart (means i want to get pregnant now that baby is 6 months old). I have gotten the clearance from my doc that im good to go, so please skip the comments about that i need 18 months to heal. My question is about the logistics of it.. pregnancy, plus with my 1st baby, juggling career (but mostly work from home). How hard is it? Is it impossible? I want my babies close in age and i really just want insight into managing it from people who have the same.
