Glucose Test in 3 days😅

First I just want to ask - WHY can’t I just chug a soda instead of the glucose drink?? 😂 Same amount of sugar almost…

Anyways, i’m super anxious for this test. I’m scared of the side effects it’ll give me and I’m already prone to feeling faint during blood draws so I know this will be even worse :( Thankfully I only have to fast for 1 hour before I drink it, and I’m able to drink the liquid at home and then go in after 45 mins and get my blood drawn and leave.

Anyone have any positive/neutral experiences from the test? I’m scared of feeling faint or even actually fainting, or getting super dizzy.
