Should we still be friends?

So I dated this girl, lets call her trix, about a year ago. The relationship was more or less holsome (with a couple hickys here and there) and it was going well. But about 3-4 weeks after she asked me out she broke up with me. We are still friends. But on the 21 lst week she told me she liked me. I told her that i had to think about it. What do i say??

We can’t make that decision for you if you date her or not. She’s already got a track record that she doesn’t last long in relationships with you. There’s a saying fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Because they already “screwed you over” and you allowed them to do it again and should have known better. Talk to her. Does she have a history of hoping from now relationship to the next. Gets bored easily and moves on. Or does she normally have long term relationships. Why did she break up with you the first time? Did she get a better offer? No chemistry? The last thing you want is to get ghosted or dropped quickly again. Figure out what they are looking for first and foremost. Make sure you want the same thing. Otherwise one person catches feelings while the other doesn’t, and ends up heartbroken. Good luck with whatever you decide.
