When did everyone’s body return to normal after birth? I really wanted to dress up for Halloween this year with my little one but I don’t feel comfortable in my skin anymore at all. I am only 2 months postpartum

It took me almost a year but I’ll be honest, your body will never be the same. You just get comfortable on it. You’re still very early in the recovery and healing process, 6 weeks is nothing! Give yourself grace and time and don’t pressure yourself to get back to your old self. This new body made a whole human, you just learn to appreciate that your body did something amazing but it takes time!

I had my 1st 3 years ago, and I’m working on my 2nd now and already struggling with my pregnancy body. It took me almost 2 years to love my body again and feel normal about everything. Now I’m in my 3rd trimester with my second and my body is changing all over again. But I’m ready to take on this journey to learn what makes me comfortable again!!
It truly is an amazing process even if you don’t feel like “you” anymore!

Depends on so much 🤷🏻‍♀️ with my first two I wasn’t pushing myself after and never really got my body back, after three I was too sick, but after four, I got back in shape by maybe 8 months, and currently I’m working out while pregnant with five just cause it makes me feel good. However, my belly will never be the same after five c sections 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s part of the journey 🤷🏻‍♀️
Gentle reminder that your goal shouldn’t be “where you were before pregnancy”… it should be “I’m healthy for my child”.

Everyone is going to be different. Depends how you were before pregnancy, how you took care of yourself during, and also genetics I'm sure plays a role. With my first two the weight came off very quickly, and I gained a lot with both, around 80lb. My Third it took longer and I never really got to my ore pregnancy size I don't think. My 4th, still struggling with that and he's 3 now.
