Trigger warning assault

Hi. My partner and his boss went out to eat yesterday. This is the story I got anyways. He told me they went into order their food, and some guy started talking crap saying I will kil* you and shit. Like a random person is just saying that ok. Well I guess the boss guy hit him. Like a lot, blood everywhere. The employees called the police and I guess my partner cocked his fist back. Which is a crime itself. Idk what to do. The boss guy is practically insane. I’ve been writing about this guy for so long but I guess it explains my fiancé being controlled by this person. Smh.

Last week, his boss had a person come appraise the house so he can get a loan. He took all his businesses and hid them, along with my fiancés help hiding his other business.

Idk is this like normal? Bc he’s saying he hit him because he threatened death? Is that legit to hit someone? I’m so confused. I’m in the United States by the way.

Update: yes I know it’s wrong. I’ve told him to look for another job. He says he won’t until next august.

Honestly he just told me the guy deserved to get his as* beat. Idk I don’t believe that crap.
