Vaginal Dryness Since 15. Any Advice ?
I’m really hoping that maybe some medical professionals, OB’s, or women with actual reproductive/vaginal knowledge will see this post and be able to give me some advice or help.
Soo.. in my preteen years (11-13), I was always very hyper-sexual. I thought about sex a lot, wanted to have sex alot, and I explored my own body a lot. In those times, I NEVER had an issue with my vagina getting wet, AT ALL, NOT ONE BIT . By 14, I had gotten on birth control pills, and a few months later , I became sexually active. I didn’t have any issues while I was on the pill (just in case, you may wonder) the dryness arose 5 months after I stopped taking the pill. After the 5 month, I was decreasing in wetness (during sex) week by week until sex became painful and my body wasn’t producing any arousal fluid and barely any cm.
I did go see my physician at this time, the first thing she said was “you’re too young to be having this type of problem.” WHICH WAS THE PROBLEM. She even told me “that some girls just don’t get as wet as others.” Which is understandable, but I WAS literally WEEKS before ! sadly she could never actually help me resolve my issue or even help me get close to finding out what was wrong. Afterwards, I seen by an OB, who literally told me the EXACT same thing, but also tried to imply that it was “all in my head” or a “mental” thing, and encouraged that I get back on birth control for estrogen hormonal support without even having my estrogen levels checked.
Since then, i’ve literally gotten no where. I’ve noticed my vaginal barely ever produce discharge or has any change in CM during my cycle/ ovulation phase. I don’t know if this came from the experiences, but my body hasn’t actually had a THROBBING SENSATION type of horny in a some years. I haven’t had a random “run to the bathroom because you think your period is on” type of wet spurt since before I stopped taking the pills , which is going on 6 YEARSSSS.
I’m now 20, you can only imagine my frustration with how many OB’s I’ve seen, how many remedies I’ve tried, & 5 almost 6 years later, nothing has changed and I don’t even know why, what happened or what’s wrong ???
Advice please .
